Ulster Bank announces Halifax Customer Welcome Programme

Ulster Bank has today announced a Halifax Customer Welcome Programme for Halifax customers who need help in finding a financial partner for their banking needs.

We understand that this may be a worrying time for Halifax customers as they are faced with decisions regarding their financial future. At Ulster Bank we want to make this as easy as possible by offering them dedicated support at this crucial time.

Halifax customers are welcome in all of our 146 branches in the Republic of Ireland. In addition, those Ulster Bank branches in particularly close proximity to the closing Halifax branches will have extended opening hours next week from Monday 15th February from 10am to 7pm for face to face meetings with any Halifax customers wishing to avail of our services. A full list of those branch locations and opening hours is available at www.ulsterbank.ie/halifaxwelcome.

We also have a dedicated Halifax Customer Welcome line available now. Halifax customers can call 1 800 283052 from 8am to 8pm, Monday – Friday and 9am – 2pm Saturday, for guidance on how to switch their accounts. Alternatively customers can log onto www.ulsterbank.ie to open an account online.
