Ulster Bank Arrives in Fermoy New Branch and Business Centre opens on Pearse Square

Ulster Bank officially opened its doors today on Pearse Square, Fermoy, Co Cork. This is the first of 7 new branches to be opened throughout Munster in the next 18 months and includes a dedicated business team servicing the needs of business customers in the local community. This state-of-the-art, 5,810 sq ft premises marks a significant investment in the Ulster Bank distribution network in Cork and will serve the personal and business banking needs of the Fermoy area.
Through these new premises, the UB team including Branch Development Manager David Valentine and the Business & Commercial team of Richard Daly and James Mullery will be on hand to provide first class service to personal and business customers.
Speaking at the opening, Mr. Sean Healy, Managing Director, Ulster Bank Retail Markets said; "We are delighted to open the doors of our new Fermoy branch and business centre today, the first of seven new premises for the Munster Region. The new premises in Fermoy will bring the total number of branches on the Island of Ireland to 276 and the total number of business centres to 37. Ulster Bank plans to open 6 more outlets in communities across the Munster region in the next 18 months.
