Ulster Bank Arrives In Blackpool! New North Cork Business Centre and Blackpool Branch Open on Dublin Street

On the day that Ulster Bank is named as the Cork Business Bank of the Year in the Meteor Business Awards 2007, it has opened its new North Cork Business Centre and Branch on Dublin Street, Blackpool, Co Cork. This state-of-the-art, 700 sq metres premises adds to the significant investment Ulster Bank is making to its distribution network in Cork and will serve the business and personal banking needs of the North Cork area. It is the second of a planned seven new business banking offices and branches to be opened throughout Munster in the next 18 months.

Through these new premises, the local Ulster Bank team led by Business Centre Manager Declan Daly and Branch Manager Sheila Mulqueen will be on hand to provide a first class service to both business and personal customers.

Speaking at the opening, Declan Daly, North Cork Business Centre Manager, said; "We are delighted to open the doors of our new North Cork Business Centre today, our team are looking forward to welcoming local businesses and residents and introducing them to the award winning business banking service that we have to offer."

This announcement follows on from the successful opening of Ulster Bank's premises in Fermoy last month and will bring the total number of branches on the Island of Ireland to 277 and the total number of business banking offices to 52. Ulster Bank plans to open five more outlets in communities across the Munster region in the next 18 months.
