WXN is a market leading Canadian organisation dedicated to the advancement and recognition of executive-minded women in the workplace. WXN in Ireland will look to promote a similar model through innovative networking and the delivery of mentoring and professional development programmes in order to support and recognise female senior executives; managers in business, government and non-profit sectors; plus entrepreneurs in all areas of business.

A series of WXN breakfast meetings showcasing Irelands most celebrated and influential female leaders in the private and public sectors will be held throughout 2009 in Dublin, Belfast and Cork. The first three WXN breakfasts have already attracted great attention amongst Irelands business community by featuring well known speakers such as Mary Davis, CEO of Special Olympics Europe/Eurasia; Danuta Grey, CEO O2, Maeve Donovan, CEO Irish Times, Louise Kennedy, Fashion Designer; Jane McDonnell, Publisher, The Gloss Magazine and Amanda Pratt, Creative Director, Avoca.
